Arriva l'ufficialità del passaggio in prestito di Marcos Alonso al Sunderland. Questo il comunicato dei Black Cats sul loro sito ufficiale: ''Sunderland AFC have confirmed that Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso will join the club from Wednesday 1 January until the end of the season. The 23-year old started his career with Spanish giants Real Madrid, before spending three years in England with Bolton Wanderers, winning the Trotters’ Player of the Season for the 2012-13 campaign. The former Spanish U19 defender then moved to Fiorentina last summer, making eight appearances for the Italian club''.

Marcos Alonso potrebbe fare il suo debutto con i Black Cats nella gara di FA Cup contro il Carlisle United, in programma domenica prossima.
